    Clean, small but cosy! It’s very strategically located, walking distance to major attractions in Ljubljana. Generally a pleasant and comfortable stay! Do take note that there’s no lift here but that’s okay if you stay on the basement/ first floor.

    Upon the first look of the place on the website, Villa Emona looks very nice. However, upon closer inspection, there are things that are very inconvenient and insufficient in this place. Firstly, the construction of the place is not great (or maybe it’s poorly maintained), the floor is peeling off. We booked the 2+1 villa and the one bed was very very close to the door, there was no space at all to put our shoes. All around the vila, there was also no place to hang our used towels and our clothes at all. In the bathroom, the shower head is very very strong, making the shower unpleasant. Elements of the shower, for example the floor waste as well as the holder for the showerhead were broken. For a four-star place, they could use better soap. There was only one soap dispenser in the bathroom - I suppose it was for both the shampoo and body wash. However, it smelt like detergent. Also, please be careful before you book this place and check all the amenities and facilities with the host as some of the amenities listed were not provided. If you book this vila, some apartments will be in the basement right next to the car garage, so every single sound made by humans or cars that drives past, can be heard as if it was right beside your ears. Also, the double bed is just two single beds put together so it was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall the place is not great and I would not recommend, but I guess if you’re on a budget that’s okay.
