    I liked this resort, however, both nights that I was there there were private parties in the main resort area, meaning we could not use the facilities. The first night they took over the tiki bar and the second night they took over most of the restaurant area, the pool area and the lawn. It was very loud, cultural music that was not pleasant and it went on for hours and hours. So I felt like as a guest, we were second class citizens to this party and too bad you’re not using the tiki bar or any of the facilities because it was closed due to the party. I thought that was very rude and inconsiderate to the guests who were actually staying there. The people in the party were not even staying there! They were blasting horrible music until 10 o’clock at night. So if you were considering this resort, understand that you will be pushed to the side if they have a private party, and the Tiki bar will be closed, which is one of the major attractions of this resort. It was total BS.

    Need to update rooms. Shower not working. Bed smells. Sofa cushion needs replacing. Breakfast very poor. Food really bad.

    This was once a beautiful resort but has sadly declined. It is tired and the rooms a bit scruffy with rubbish outside the villas. When paying international prices one expects more than the absolute basics. Food was not the best. The one redeeming factor is that the staff are all lovely.
