The Beachouse

Nice place to lay back enjoy and meet other travellers. The food is excellent every dish never went below 8 out of 10. Lot's of 9s and yes 10 was reached. Tuna sashimi caught fresh the day before. The curry's never disappoint even a simple chicken wrap was top notch. The breakfast was basic but is included with the room. A little isolated but that's what makes it. Enough things to do to keep you busy like the snorkelling adventure boat to an island snorkelling on the reef and bbq on the island. Fishing surfing etc. Happy hour at the bar every night cheap beers and cocktails 4 = 7pm and live music on a Saturday night. Get up and dance under the stars. The staff are helpful and friendly. I almost forgot get a great massage fj$40 for one hour with coconut oil. I almost forgot get a great massage

We had the most incredible stay at The Beach House. The staff were amazing from start to finish. We stayed in the Hibiscus Room as a couple, it had 2 Queen beds, a single bed, plenty of space, and a clean, comfortable bathroom. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. No pics as we made home as soon as we got in lol. One of the highlights was definitely the massage. An hour for only $40 is unbeatable, and it was so relaxing. Managing our room tab was also a breeze. The staff always confirmed our room number and name, and we paid halfway through our stay and again at the end with zero issues, something many other guests told us they struggled with at other resorts. My husband and I were craving kokoda (Fijian raw fish salad in coconut cream), so we asked the staff where we could find some. They went above and beyond and added it to the menu that same day! That’s the level of service we experienced throughout our stay, every question answered, every request taken seriously, and genuine care the whole way through. There are also great activities to book onsite through The Base Fiji. They offer river rafting, waterfall trips, fishing, snorkelling, Suva day tours, coconut leaf weaving and more. We chose the snorkelling trip and wow… it was magical. The coral was vibrant, Yanuca Island was breathtaking, and the island locals were so friendly. They also had beautiful handmade jewellery and shells for sale, definitely bring cash if you go. Huge shoutout to Matthew and Captain John, who looked after us on the water. They kept everyone safe and even surprised us with a detour to chase birds out at sea... which led to catching a big yellowfin tuna! For $15 you can request to have it cooked/cut up for you and your posse. Afternoon volleyball was another fun highlight. Such a good sweat under the sun and always a great vibe. Despite having a mix of families and adults around, the resort never felt packed or overwhelming. It kept that perfect chilled, relaxed atmosphere the entire time. Plenty of hammocks and beachside seating were always available, and the ocean breeze made even the hottest days feel comfortable. Food at the restaurant was always freshly cooked and delicious, and the bar staff were just as wonderful as the rest of the team. Overall, The Beach House is an absolute gem on the Coral Coast. We loved every minute and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly, unforgettable stay.

I enjoyed the stay. I stayed in the hostel, which was priced a little lower than some other places. It's very small resort, but it's nicely laid out and there are lots of places to socialize or to find privacy, whichever you prefer.The only two comments I could l make; the musician's first set was very loud, which disrupted the peace of the place. He lowered the sound for his second set and it was quite pleasant. The continent of breakfast was basic with coffee, tea, toast and cereal. I had pasta for dinner, which was okay, but the pizzas looked amazing.

I went to the beachhouse with high expectations after my friend was dreaming about it. For us it was just alright. Disappointing breakfast, not good organized activities, and the most rude and unmotivated staff (especially around kitchen)
