    Disappointing stay. I would not recommend UH Suite The Myeongdong, especially for families travelling with young children. I stayed here with my 4-year-old daughter and unfortunately had several issues during the stay. First, the room had drain flies. When I raised this with the property, I was told that this was due to the climate/weather, which I did not find to be an adequate response to a cleanliness/pest issue in a hotel room. Second, the room was provided with only one standard pillow. When I requested additional pillows, I was informed that each extra standard pillow would cost KRW 5,000 per night. For a multi-night stay at this price point, I found this policy unreasonable, particularly as these were ordinary pillows rather than specialty pillows. Housekeeping was also much more limited than I expected. Towels, water and rubbish could be attended to daily, but full housekeeping and linen replacement were only carried out every four nights. The most concerning incident happened during the stay when several intoxicated individuals caused a disturbance immediately outside our room. I was travelling alone with my young daughter, so this made me extremely uncomfortable. The hotel confirmed to me in writing that the individuals were intoxicated and that the police had been contacted. After this incident, I decided that I was no longer comfortable continuing the stay and relocated to another hotel. I subsequently had to involve Agoda regarding a refund for the unused nights. After communication between Agoda and the property, Agoda eventually processed a partial refund for the unused portion of my stay. The location and room concept may appeal to some travellers, but based on my experience, the combination of the drain flies, limited housekeeping, extra-pillow policy and the way the stay ultimately unfolded meant that I did not feel the accommodation provided the level of comfort or service I expected for the price. I would not stay here again.
