    Pros: good clean hotel that has been more spacious than my other hotels. I like how you get your own laundry as well. The shower and bathroom is clean

    U Hotel is just a short walk from JR Takadanobaba Station…you will hear some train noises, but we still had a restful stay. Host was very considerate as we just got in about 2pm and luckily the room was just prepped and they let us check in. YMMV. Room is modern, clean and comfortable and a good value that is close to the main JR loop line in Tokyo. Host is excellent about check in instructions and message contact…this is an unmanned hotel…except for occasional cleaning staff…so you will be doing a lot by computer.

    Okay so, i don’t know if there’s a problem by booking it through Agoda, but we did not receive a code to get in. Others from other site, did get codes, so it was fairly surprising that we were NOT AT ALL told how to get in. If it wasn’t for random people opening it from the inside we would have slept outside. Also we tried calling the numbers they offered on the door when you don’t have a code and they were not answering. Otherwise once inside it was okay, there’s a lot of ambient sounds, if people upstairs go to the bathroom you can hear the water flush and stuff. One of the best thing was the laundry! It was free laundry to clean and dry your clothes! There were no more dishsoap so we had to buy some. If it wasn’t for the experience of getting it which left us living a lot of stress, it’s a good spot, although quite expensive since we had to self check-in.
