⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our Experience at TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar We recently arrived at TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar and, overall, had a pleasant stay. The welcome from most of the staff was warm and friendly, and the hotel has some excellent facilities. However, our arrival experience was disappointing. One particular staff member at reception was extremely unfriendly and did not even offer a smile or warm welcome. In the hospitality industry, that first interaction is very important, especially when guests are arriving for a holiday. One negative interaction can unfortunately create a poor first impression, even when the rest of the team is wonderful. We had also specifically requested rooms close to the restaurant area because we were travelling with children. Unfortunately, we were allocated rooms that were among the furthest from the restaurant. This was disappointing, particularly because we had clearly explained our needs. The rooms themselves are of a good standard, the pool area is excellent, and most of the staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. 🍽️ The restaurant deserves special mention. The food was excellent, with a good variety and generally very enjoyable meals. One important point for travellers: TUI BLUE Bahari is not really a traditional beach-holiday destination. The beach experience is affected by the tides, and the shoreline is not always suitable for swimming or relaxing on the beach throughout the day. If your main priority is a beautiful, accessible swimming beach, this is something to consider before booking. Overall, the hotel has good facilities, excellent food and a friendly team, but the initial reception experience and the room allocation were disappointing. With better attention to guest requests and a warmer welcome at reception, the overall experience could be significantly improved. Overall: A good resort with excellent food and facilities, but there is room for improvement in guest service and attention to specific requests.

Great location for a weddings the estate and wedding planner for the wedding was excellent. All the restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was great, something for every palate. And evening events are fun for all

I had high expectations for this resort, but unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were treated as if we didn't matter. The customer service throughout our stay was inconsistent, and it often seemed like other guests received better treatment than we did. For example, we requested nuts and popcorn at our cabana, but never received them, while other guests around us were served without issue. We also waited an unreasonable amount of time for drinks on multiple occasions. The dining experience was unacceptable. On June 21, we waited over an hour for lunch at the Green Grill. That same evening, we waited over an hour and a half for dinner at the Italian restaurant. By the time we were finally served, it was after 10:30 p.m. No guest at an all-inclusive resort should have to wait that long for a meal. The resort itself had numerous maintenance issues. The air conditioner and ceiling fan in our room did not work properly, making the room very uncomfortable. There was also a power outage during our stay, water all over the floor, a toilet that wouldn't flush properly, and the bathroom wasn't stocked with paper towels or tissue. The lighting in the room was poor as well. Transportation around the property was another issue. One of the carts had a flat tire, and only two guests could ride at a time, causing unnecessary delays. To make matters worse, members of our bridal party were charged for food even though everyone had an all-inclusive package. Room service was also disappointing and did not meet expectations. I do want to recognize a few employees who stood out despite the overall experience. Anastasia at the bar restaurant, Joseph, Hasan, and Fredrick at the bar, and the gentleman who assisted us at the Italian restaurant were all friendly, professional, and pleasant. They provided excellent customer service and made the best of an otherwise disappointing stay. Overall, this was one of the most frustrating resort experiences I've had. Between the poor service, excessive wait times, maintenance problems, and lack of attention to guests, I cannot recommend this resort. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes significant improvements so future guests have a much better experience.

I went here for a wedding and a lot of the things we were told would be included with our reservation was not. Every day something changed from what we were initially told. We got kicked off the beach because we had too many people there. Eventhough we had an all inclusive room we had to pay for certain foods and drink. The bride and groom were told they would have a suite on the wedding day and they did not.
