Horrible me and all my friends got food poisoning and they give you different liquor I asked for Hennessy I watched them put a different liquor in the Hennessy bottle and called them out on it. My first room was filled with mold and leaking water. Room service sucked. I will never ever go to a TRS chain

I stayed at TRS Turquesa Punta Cana for 4 nights and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room with a strong musty smell and excessive humidity. The room felt old and uncomfortable. I immediately requested a room change, but I was initially told that no other rooms were available. After spending nearly an hour discussing the issue and considering cancelling my stay, the hotel finally moved me to a Villa Suite. The Villa Suite was better and did not have the unpleasant smell, but it was still far from what I would expect from a luxury resort. The room was not particularly modern and the bathroom cleanliness could definitely be improved. The food was another disappointment. Most dishes were overly salty and the overall quality did not meet my expectations for a resort in this category. I appreciate that the hotel eventually changed my room, but the process was stressful and time-consuming. Based on this experience, I would not choose TRS again and would not recommend it to travelers looking for a true luxury all-inclusive experience.
