    Loved that our room had a ring-side view of the river - so soothing to fall asleep to the sound of rushing water. Also very thrilling to be so close to nature, we had a visit by the local Gecko - startlingly loud and actually screams “GECK! KO!”No luck actually seeing the beast though. Staff were very friendly, taking the time and trouble to accede to requests. Chef was very obliging with dietary requests and the food at the restaurant is tasty (we had local food - Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. Room was decently sized, loved that it was a poster bed. Mattress was firm but not hard, just the way we like it. The toilet was basic - water pressure came in waves and the shower was pretty weak most of the time. Was surprised by how large the resort is - there’s even a swimming pool! We regretted only staying a night, and planning a longer stay the next time we visit.
