    The rate may seem steep at first glance and definitely not a typical 5-star hotel or resort, but once you factor in the all-inclusive offering and the cleanliness of the beach, it’s maybe worth it for first time, if you want to try Tunisian cuisine since they have variety of food but maybe repeat apart from some dishes.

    Great stay at this resort. Enjoyed every minute and did not want to leave. the resort had so many things to offer and the food was amazing. The animation team was so friendly and provided activities throughout the day. And the night events/shows were always alot of fun where my favorite was a Drag show on Wednesday night.

    Only stayed for 2 nights but was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, plenty of choice at meal times, staff helpful. Would definitely return.

    We recently stayed at Tour Khalef as a family of four – myself, my wife, our 3-year-old, and our 5-month-old baby. First of all, there were many positives about our stay. The hotel itself is lovely, the food was consistently excellent, and many members of staff were genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming. We especially appreciated those who took the time to interact with our children, making them smile and feel included throughout our holiday. However, there was one aspect of our experience that left us feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. As a South Asian family, we couldn’t help but notice what appeared to be a difference in the way some staff members treated guests. On several occasions, we observed other guests, particularly white guests, receiving noticeably warmer greetings and more attentive service. For example, there were times when we ordered drinks such as tea and our order was forgotten, while the same waiter continued serving other guests around us. Small incidents on their own may not seem significant, but when they happen repeatedly, they begin to create the feeling that you are being treated differently. We paid the same as everyone else for our holiday, yet at times we did not feel equally welcomed or valued. Whether intentional or not, this difference in treatment left us feeling uncomfortable and, sadly, somewhat inferior because of our background and appearance. We understand that staff may naturally pay extra attention to guests they believe are more likely to tip, but hospitality should be about making every guest feel equally respected and appreciated. I would also like to mention the animation team. Before arriving, we had read many reviews praising how engaging and inclusive they were. While they were energetic and entertaining, our experience was that they tended to be selective in whom they interacted with and did not always make the same effort to include everyone. Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel has many strengths, and there were plenty of memorable moments with our family. However, I sincerely hope management takes feedback like this seriously, because the way guests are made to feel through staff behaviour is just as important as the facilities, food, or entertainment. Having experienced racism in the country we originally came from, the last thing we expected was to encounter similar feelings while on holiday. We are not accusing the hotel of deliberate racism, but we do believe there is room for improvement when it comes to ensuring all guests feel equally welcomed, respected, and included regardless of their ethnicity or skin colour.
