    Let’s start with the weirdest rule I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Guests are not allowed to bring food from outside. This is nowhere mentioned on Booking.com or Agoda hotel policy. I’ve been travelling for many years and across many countries, and no hotel has ever tried to control what food I bring in. This is not a hospital or a prison. Has anyone ever been stopped at a hotel entrance for carrying food? Apparently, here you can. Breakfast is mostly good. The food quality is fine. But the Nescafé machine is unacceptable for a so-called 5-star resort. Invest in a proper coffee machine. Guests deserve better than instant coffee. Then comes the most ridiculous part. A printed sign placed at the entrance of the breakfast area (see photo) reminding guests not to take food outside. Seriously? Is this a luxury resort or a school cafeteria? Do they really imagine a guest walking out with an omelette on a plate and a pile of bread? People who can afford a 5-star hotel don’t need to be treated like this. It’s insulting and embarrassing. Wi-Fi feels like you’re connecting from the medieval age. Slow, unstable, and unreliable. And finally, it’s time to change the towels. Old, rough, and clearly past their life span. Overall, this stay did not match the Marriott name or the 5-star label. Very disappointing.
