    If there’s one place to stay in Da Lat, it’s definitely here! First of all, the location is brilliant – it’s just a 5-minute Grab ride to the city centre. The place is absolutely stunning, but above all, the staff and service are simply incredible. A special mention for Misa and Anna, who are absolute darlings – I gave them a hug before leaving because they were so lovely. If I’d been able to stay longer, I would have! As for the service, they take care of everything: meals, cocktails, scooter hire, motorbike tours around Da Lat, pool and table football on site, a shuttle to the Maze Bar (which I recommend) and much more. It’s the perfect place to meet people as it’s a backpacker hotspot. And all that for a more than reasonable price!!! I recommend it 100%

    Staying at Tigon Dalat House was a special experience for me because it was my first time traveling alone and also my first time staying in a hostel. As a self-confessed “hotel girlie,” I was a little hesitant at first. I’m used to the comfort and privacy of hotels, so trying a hostel felt like stepping out of my comfort zone. But this place completely changed my perspective. The management and staff were incredibly warm and accommodating. They really try their best to adjust to the needs of their guests. I also have food restrictions, which sometimes makes traveling difficult, but they made sure it wasn’t a problem for me during my stay. What made the experience even more special is that I’m not naturally very approachable or extroverted. I usually keep to myself. But the staff were very thoughtful—they made sure I didn’t feel left out and included me in small conversations and moments around the hostel. It may seem like a small thing, but when you’re traveling alone in a different country, that kind of warmth means a lot. Because of that, my stay at Tigon Dalat actually helped me open up a little bit more. It made my solo trip feel less intimidating and more meaningful. The staff could also communicate well in English, which made everything easier—especially when asking questions or needing help. Overall, it wasn’t just a place to stay. It became part of my solo travel story. And safe to say… this “hotel girlie” might slowly be becoming a hostel girlie too. ✨
