The Venue Jeddah Corniche

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel failed at two of the most fundamental responsibilities of any accommodation: providing a comfortable room and maintaining acceptable standards of cleanliness. Upon check-in, we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor. Before leaving the hotel for a walk, we set the air conditioner to 18°C. When we returned, the room temperature was still 23°C, proving that the air conditioning was not functioning properly. The room was hot, humid, and extremely uncomfortable. My wife and I were sweating despite the air conditioner being set to its lowest temperature. I immediately contacted the front desk to report the problem. Instead of responding promptly, I had to call several times before anyone took the issue seriously. Eventually, a technician arrived carrying a ladder and attempted to repair the unit while we were forced to wait in the room. After wasting even more of our evening, he admitted that he could not fix it. I contacted reception again, and we were left waiting for approximately another 30 minutes before finally being moved to a room on the 7th floor. By then, a significant portion of our evening had already been wasted because the hotel failed to ensure that a basic room facility was working before assigning it to guests. Unfortunately, the disappointment did not end there. After settling into the replacement room, we decided to use the jacuzzi bathtub. The moment we turned on the jacuzzi jets, an alarming amount of black sludge, dirt, debris, and residue was discharged into the water. It was absolutely revolting. The water became filthy within seconds, making the jacuzzi completely unusable. It was obvious that the jacuzzi pipes had not been cleaned or maintained for a very long time. I have attached a video that clearly shows the black contamination being discharged from the jacuzzi system. This is not a minor issue—it is a serious hygiene concern and demonstrates an unacceptable lack of maintenance. What is most alarming is that both rooms had major defects. The first room had a completely ineffective air conditioning system, while the replacement room had a contaminated jacuzzi that should never have been offered to guests. This reflects a serious failure in preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and quality control. It raises the question of how many rooms are being rented without even the most basic inspections. For the price charged by this hotel, I expected a clean, comfortable, and properly maintained room. Instead, I experienced discomfort, wasted time, repeated inconvenience, and an unsanitary facility that should have been thoroughly cleaned long before any guest was allowed to use it. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The management needs to take responsibility for these unacceptable maintenance and cleanliness failures instead of allowing paying guests to discover them firsthand. Until substantial improvements are made, I strongly advise travelers to book elsewhere. There are far better hotels that value guest comfort, hygiene, and basic quality standards.

Lady in reception need training how to deal with customers

The hotel un-flexible with the reservation, even with valid reason has been given more than month prior to the date of stay. However, caring about financial situation is not enough to deal with such situation. I wouldn’t come back to place is not supportive in urgent situation.
