    Firstly, though I'd recommend the establishment, do not book through Agoda. The Star Inn does not have a contract with Agoda, and your booking will not be forwarded to them. I was fortunate that they happened to have a free room, but not at the rate Agoda quoted. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, with parking immediately adjacent. Food, for both dinner and breakfast, was excellent.

    When I arrived at the hotel having driven over 200 miles, I was told there was not booking and were, in fact, closed for accommodation. Further they advised that the hotel has never partnered with Agoda for their bookings. Consequently Agoda had failed to communicate my booking to the hotel even though I had a confirmation email from Agoda. Do not use Agoda for your hotel booking as there is a very good chance that your booking does not exist. The Star Inn were very helpful in finding alternative accommodation for me as very short notice - Thankyou Star Inn
