    We stayed for 6 nights at the Rose Residence and found it was perfect for what we wanted. It was in an amazing location - 5 mins walk to the MRT and 10 mins walk to BTS, super easy to get anywhere we wanted to go in BKK and walking distance from some great bars/clubs. The breakfast was delicious and easy (and open until 11am!) and the pool was a great place to relax in the afternoon. The room was spacious and bathroom was great, only downside was the bed was veryy firm and a bit uncomfortable but we managed. For the price, this was an awesome place to stay to feel like you were really in the middle of what Bangkok has to offer at a really reasonable price. A note is that this hotel is right next to The Rose Hotel, which has much more dated rooms and different vibe so make sure you book at The Rose Residence!

    The staff are wonderful! Every single person was kind and caring, paying attention to the little details like bringing you warm milk for your coffee or refilling your water bottle without you asking. The common spaces are beautiful - the lobby, restaurant, and gardens. Breakfast is made to order. It is tucked down a quiet side street in a very busy area. The downside is that rooms need maintenance badly! My room had signs of water damage that were concerning because of the likelihood of mold. Some towels and sheets are threadbare and need replacing, which is inconsistent with the public spaces. Many of the pool chaise lounges are collapsing or falling apart. I really wanted to love it for all of the positives but feel that there are other well-maintained properties at this price point that I would suggest other options.
