    We stayed for a wedding and had a fantastic time. The wedding set up was amazing and the evening meal was exceptional, The breakfast (which was well needed) hit the spot and the produce was good quality (only point of improvement would be hash browns being available). The grounds were nice to walk around in and we were made to feel very welcome by the lovely staff

    We booked 1 Executive Double for *** and 2 Superior Double rooms for *** each. I would strongly recommend that you do not pay extra for the Executive Double as there is no real difference apart from the decor. The air conditioning does not work in any of the rooms. The small fridge, in my room, wad on its way out. One of the Superior Double Rooms did not have a fridge and none was provided, when requested. The carpets were heavily stained and the toilet in the Executive Double did not flush properly. The breakfast was not as advertised on the website. Very basic breakfast No Omelette, just fried & scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, beans and mushrooms. No marmalade when asked for only jam for the toast. The hotel is short staffed. However, the staff there are very helpful and clearly do the best they can. Although this hotel is an event hotel, and the events are well managed, the accommodation side is poor. On a positive note, the hotel is set in nice grounds with ample car parking.
