The Moon Rabbit Resort Pai

I booked Moon Rabbit in Pai with my partner because we wanted to have a romantic and relaxing evening together. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and, considering the price we paid, completely unacceptable. The biggest issue was the toilet. It repeatedly failed to flush properly, and on one occasion it took approximately three hours before the waste in the toilet could finally be flushed away. During that entire period, the toilet essentially had to remain closed and unusable. I had to use the toilet myself during this time, which made the situation particularly embarrassing and uncomfortable. Having to deal with this in a room we paid a significant amount of money for is simply not acceptable. What made this even more frustrating was the explanation from the person in charge. I was told that the facilities and water systems were outdated and that they could not properly handle the conditions during the rainy season. If the hotel knows that its plumbing system cannot cope with normal conditions, this should be fixed before charging guests a premium price. This is not something a paying guest should have to deal with. There was also no proper door in the hotel room, which seriously affected our privacy and comfort. In addition, I have photographs showing a very large insect, approximately 30 cm, that I found at the property. This added to an overall feeling that the facilities were not properly maintained. I want to be fair and say that the staff were generally friendly and polite, so I would give them a 7/10 for their attitude. However, being friendly does not make up for serious problems with the facilities and the overall experience. For a place charging this kind of money, I expect a functioning toilet, proper privacy, clean and well-maintained facilities, and a comfortable environment. Unfortunately, Moon Rabbit failed on the basics. I would not recommend staying here. What was supposed to be a romantic evening with my partner instead became an extremely uncomfortable and frustrating experience.

Good location, very clean & cozy, great stay !

We had an excellent stay here. The property is under new management and they're working super hard to turn the place around. It's set in an extremely beautiful place, with gorgeous views. The rooms are all newly refurbished and decorated. The beds are EXTREMELY comfy! Good shower pressure too. Would recommend!
