My wife and I made a rather spontaneous decision to visit Ranthambore, and after reading the glowing reviews, we booked The Kipling Lodge. What a wonderful choice that turned out to be! The resort is conveniently located about 5 kilometres from the main gate for Zones 1-5, making safari access really easy. From the moment we checked in until our departure, the experience was exceptional. Every member of staff greeted us with genuine warmth and smiles, and you could tell this wasn’t rehearsed but came naturally. This clearly stems from the top, with Mr. Rathore, the Manager, leading by example. He’s wonderfully hands-on and resourceful. Despite our last-minute booking, Mr. Rathore coordinated with their safari partner and managed to arrange our safari bookings. This effort was rewarded with a magnificent sighting of two tigers! It’s the little touches that really stood out though: ensuring we had enough water for the safari and our return journey, checking that our meals suited our dietary requirements and taste preferences. The entire team deserves full marks for their dedication and genuine care towards guests. Our cottage was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely large private sit-out area and garden where we could relax. We missed bringing our pet as this is a pet-friendly property. Overall, The Kipling Lodge is an excellent property with truly impeccable service. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!
