Villa - Mountain View is a misnomer as it is basically a big upstairs room in a standalone house. The room is a climb up a high & narrow staircase that opens to a large room with sparse furniture. The photos on Agoda definitely look better, as I think the property has aged considerably. Fittings in the bathroom look to be giving way soon (WC seat was faux marble material, has been broken and glued back!) and the ill-placed drop level in the bathroom was a toes cum ankle killer. The worse bit was the lack of accessible power sockets around the room - 2 in the room (one used by the TV already) and 1 in the bathroom.

I really enjoyed my time at this homestay. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The staff was super kind and always happy to help – they made me feel very welcome. The place is in a quiet area but still close to nice cafes, restaurants and Warungs. Beautiful surroundings!

My stay at The Kanjeng Signature Sidemen was truly exceptional, largely thanks to the supreme comfort of the property and the outstanding service, particularly from Riszkie.
Location & Setting: Nestled peacefully amidst Sidemen's breathtaking rice terraces and lush jungle, the hotel offers stunning panoramic views and profound tranquility. It's the perfect escape from the bustle, ideal for relaxation and reconnecting with nature.
The Comfort: The hotel absolutely delivers on comfort. Our villa (or room) was spacious, beautifully designed with local materials, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable – a real haven after a day of exploring. The private pool and balcony overlooking the valley were absolute highlights, providing the ultimate relaxation spots. The shared infinity pool is also stunning and serene. Everything felt premium and thoughtfully arranged for guest ease.
The Staff (Highlighting Riszkie): This is where The Kanjeng truly shines. The service was consistently warm, friendly, and professional. A special mention must go to Riszkie. He was exceptionally attentive, genuinely friendly, and went above and beyond throughout our stay. Whether it was arranging transport, offering local recommendations, ensuring our dining preferences were met, or simply checking in to see if we needed anything, his service was impeccable and made us feel incredibly valued and well-cared for. He truly embodies the spirit of Balinese hospitality.
Dining & Amenities: The on-site restaurant served delicious local and international cuisine with fantastic views. The breakfast selection was varied and tasty. While the setting is peaceful and remote, the hotel provides everything you need on-site for a comfortable and indulgent stay, including a spa offering traditional treatments (which I recommend!).
Overall Impression: The Kanjeng Signature Sidemen offers a perfect blend of luxurious comfort, stunning natural beauty, and personalized service. It provided the serene, rejuvenating escape we were looking for. Combined with the warm hospitality, especially the fantastic service from Riszkie, this hotel deserves the highest recommendation. We left feeling completely relaxed and already dreaming of a return visit.
Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers seeking peace, or anyone wanting an authentic Balinese luxury experience in a magical setting.

We were enjoying our stay at the hotel, the price was not expensive (for us) and staying for 2 nights is enough. Its an old hotel/villa that just being renovated. Very easy to find, easy check in process and the staff are friendly and helpful. But a lot of detail in the rooms/hotel facilities that need to improve i.e the shower in the bathroom, cleanliness in the pond area etc.
