The room was good, breakfast excellent however the smell of chemical cleaning sprays etc in the bedroom was overwhelming. Despite having the windows open for several hours it was quite intoxicating.

Nice pub, staff seemed good. Toilet seat came off in my had as soon as I checked the bathroom. The 8am breakfast can’t be helped but I had to leave by 7.30, I enquired about leaving some cereal out with Milk but was told no. Room was overly hot, potentially due to the bathroom towel warmer being hot enough to burn your hands (I turned it off but didn’t seem to reduce much)had to open the window, being roadside it was pretty noisy (the bright lights of the Globe sign streamed in from right outside my window but that was no problem as was turned off when they closed up. If I’d been leaving at 10 and the room was a little colder and at the back then it likely would’ve been fine. For nearly £*** it seemed steep
