    My friend and I stayed at the Delphi for 2 nights for a convention and concerts at the LA Convention Center and Crypto.com arena. I will attempt to put my thoughts below. - staff was wonderful and very accommodating and kind and quick, even letting us upgrade our room and check in at 5am - we had to ask for a few things during our stay as they weren't present. there was no remote or phone in the room, so we did have to ask for that. we also only had one roll of toilet paper. the front desk staff promptly delivered both to our room in the time it took us to get to our room from the front desk. we also did not have any trash bags in the trash cans. - the staff kept our luggage multiple times and we were very grateful! - as for safety, this doesn't reflect so much on the hotel but just Downtown LA in general- we found that walking back to our hotel from the convention center mid-day (daylight) was uncomfortable and we didn't necessarily feel safe. Because of this, we didn't even attempt to walk there after dark. I recommend any women staying here to please be aware of the surroundings of DTLA and even outside the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a unique old charm, but the area immediately outside did not feel safe. even in the lobby at the elevators i didn't feel entirely comfy waiting for the elevator as main doors to the street are there and unlocked for anyone. But, this is not the hotel's fault, just DTLA from what i experienced generally, unfortunately. - as for distance for people going to conventions at the convention center and/or concerts at crypto.com arena, i don't think i would recommend staying here unless you are willing to walk or shell out the money for an uber/lyft/waymo. It was about a 25 minute walk in total one way from the convention center to the hotel, I believe. A waymo from the convention center was around $25 one way, which is pretty pricey for such a short drive. Overall, the room was comfortable and the staff was accommodating and overly kind, and I appreciate this!

    the area of downtown LA is sub-par but if you intend to travel entire day, then The Delphi is a value for money stay
