Me and my boyfriend had a great time here. Wish they put us to a room with queen sized bed. We were assigned to two single beds attached together so yeah that’s the only problem.

The staff was amazing and made my stay worthwhile. The room was great and the hotel is in a central location but the team at the Clarence is exceptional. Highly recommed this place. Will book here again.

Very central location in the Temple Bar area., so much to do right outside the door. The bed was comfortable, though it was a hotter than usual time and HVAC would have been nice. They did supply a fan and the windows were operable so that wasn't that big of a deal.

We stayed two nights because we had to go to Crumlin Hospital. We saw some reviews and there was food there a few months ago. There was no meals available at all and no vending machines. There was no breakfast, no lunch or evening meals. The man told us that the cafe next door opens and we can get food there. It's not a cafe, there are no seats in there, and they close around 3pm. Even during Covid, people were given food in bags in every hotel. I just don't categorise it as a hotel if it doesn't serve and food. My son was looking forward to having breakfast in his room and dinner. I asked the man at reception if there will be food on any day that we stay and he said no. I asked him if he could make sandwiches for us after we arrived late in the evening and he said no sandwiches. I would have chosen a completely different hotel if I knew they didn't serve food. It also made me wonder if they were closed down by health and safety for food as I saw photos. Overall the hotel has the potential to be a great hotel in the right hands. There was no Irish welcome that you expect on reception regardless of the nationality, they need to know how to greet people to the Irish standard
