    The hotel for price is good. There was only one staff. But, he was cordial and good. Just when we reached. We changed and get ready for going to Cat cat village which was walking distance from this hotel. But, to our surprise, the room for was not opening, the lock jammed. After trying for around 10 min ourselves, I started finding number of hotel reception as there was no phone in room. I find two numbers, one via agora booking and anothervisa Google. Both, not working. Lastly, I sent my 10 years old daughter from washroom windows somehow. She went up to lobbyto get help, but there was no one. She saw some mobile number mentioned there and

    -----### Interior stuff ###------- UPDATE: Looking at the other reviews - Just avoid this place, it was a mountainside in 2019 and it'll go back to being one in a few years. The bathroom leaves a lot to be desired, taking any sort of shower will drench the place (yep, even that toilet paper roll neatly placed under the shower head.) The pool is completely overtaken by algae and the garden looks abandoned. No garbage in sight anywhere. THE DOOR...? yeah I don't even want to talk about the door. Be sure to bring your own soap and shampoo 'cause the built-in ones will leave your skin barren and lifeless. ----### Additional remarks ###---- The owners never answered our Agoda DM's. We booked a room for 3, but accommodations for 2 were provided. They were unable to lend us with an extra blanket and we had to scavenge for towels and an extra pillow ourselves. Mattresses are more on the hard side. View: half obstructed by the winding road + there is a big electric pole right in front of the balconies. Breakfast runs 'til 9:30. Came in at 9:34 and were refused service... fair I guess. Breakfast we ve been served on the second day wasn t tasty. That was nothing more than a stack of omelette and we had to ask for the sausages, coffees and also for bread that actually never come. We thought there was an on-site restaurant but there is only a fridge with cold drinks for sale at the reception -which is not 24h open. Also there are not many restaurants and cafes around the hotel so you ll have to walk up the hill to find places to eat. These are issues that could (mostly all) be resolved without sinking a lot of cash into. i.e Install hand rails to safe guard the steep steps that leads to rooms. Refill coffees, teas and bottle of water. Provide proper breakfasts, bins..

    They really have a very approachable and good staff. Although they don't speak english, we can communicate well through translation apps and theybare also very very accomodating. The place is 10 mins from Sapa City center which will require the grab going back and forth but it is worth the peace and the sound of the small river at the back of the accomodation. It was worth the visit. Thanks!
