    Accommodation was not as advertised. Filthy room and floor was being used for long term accommodation which is not advertised before booking.

    Stayed there for work. Was up early so didnt get to try the hot breakfast but looked very nice. They provided me with takeaway coffee and a muffin without any issue. Parking was tight but the local Cork lad who worked at reception, came out and moved his car to facilitate me. Very nice staff member and nothing too much trouble for him. Nice to see extra effort for customers.

    The hotel is on top of a hill and if you are coming from the train station, maps will direct you to walk up a very steep hill. There is an alternative route further on. This is a beautiful hotel, with a lovely patio. The staff is amazing. They go out of their way to ensure that all guests have a pleasant stay.

    Some positives - beautiful building, big room, nice staff, free parking, nice coffee maker in the room. Some issues - poor and intermittent wifi, terrible breakfast - probably the worst hotel breakfast I've had in years - poor buffet selection (rarely replenished), a la cart choices limited, avocado toast was a tiny bit of guacamole on the hardest piece of poor quality sliced pan ever. If I stay again, skip paying for the breakfast and walk to one of the great cafes 5 mins walk away
