Villa is bit of the distance from city centre or attractions, you would need taxi, too far too walk. Villa it self very spacious, modern and clean. Reception team super helpful. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay very fried staff and spacious rooms

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Tarn Villa. If you're looking for a peaceful, chill base in Krabi, this is a great choice. Highlights: · Serene Environment: The villa compound is beautifully quiet and has a very calming vibe, perfect for unwinding. Security felt good at night as the main gate is closed, but we were given our own remote control for convenient late-night returns. · Spacious & Well-Laid Out Rooms: Our room was huge and cleverly separated into two bedrooms with a sliding door. The master bedroom was particularly spacious with a comfortable sofa, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom. · Excellent & Helpful Host: The owner was incredibly friendly and proactive. We especially appreciated the help in arranging an in-house massage, which was superb – the local masseurs were also very friendly. A lovely, thoughtful touch was the plate of free snacks (bananas and fried beancurd) given to us on our last day. · Convenient Location: The location is pretty ideal—centrally located in Krabi. It was about 20 minutes to Ao Nang and 15 minutes to Krabi Town. Grab cars were always easily available, so we didn't feel the need to rent a car. While there's not much in immediate walking distance, we highly recommend the fantastic restaurant "Ruen Mai" for authentic Thai food, which is only about a 1km walk away. Considerations & Suggestions for Improvement: · The swimming pool is usable but on the smaller side. For families with kids, a larger pool or even a small slide would be amazing. · In between the bathroom and walk-in closet in the master bedroom are open, lacking a door for privacy. · While a microwave is provided, there's no kitchen or kitchenette, so even light cooking isn't really possible. · The pillows were a bit too soft for our preference, firmer options would be great. · Sound insulation could be improved, as we could occasionally hear conversations from the neighboring villa. · Small Suggestions: The thoughtful snack plate would be even more enjoyable if offered on the first day (like a welcome drink or snack) as check-out day is often too rushed to fully appreciate it. · Laundry Clarity: It would be helpful to know the total weight of laundry before charging. An additional THB 100 was added to our bill without us knowing the total kg, so clearer communication on this would be great. On-Site Activities: Other than swimming, there isn't much to do on the compound. Adding a small mini-gym for basic workouts would be a fantastic amenity. Providing free bicycles for guests would also greatly enhance the experience, making it easier to explore the nearby local area and restaurant. Overall: We truly enjoyed our stay. We managed to book on a promotional rate, which made it exceptional value for money. The property is considered pretty new and look exactly like in photos. We would recommend Tarn Villa to friends and travelers seeking a relaxed, spacious accommodation with a genuinely helpful host.
