    We were initially worried that we couldn't find a nice place to stay at Kinosaki Onsen because the ryokans near the train stations were either fully booked or beyond our budget. Then we stumbled upon this gem! This is a lovely double storey maisonette next to a seafood shop. It is connected with the resort nearby so guests staying here can use the onsen facilities there too. We love the thoughtful interior design and the warm welcome and chat with the owner. The place is cosy and comforting with a fully equipped apartment with gorgeous design details. Don't worry about the distance from the station. You can take a shuttle bus from the tourist centre opposite the station and arrange for shuttle drop off to the station with the owner. It is also very near the ropeway, dining options and main street. Just a few steps away you can experience the foot onsen and cook onsen eggs. The owner also asks for additional information to prepare appropriate yukata and clogs which can be worn all around the onsen town. We appreciate the attention to details and warm hospitality. Highly recommend if you are going to Kinosaki Onsen!
