    We stayed 5 nights at the spice hotel. Im not too sure how I feel about my experience. I am able to say it was okay solely due to the fact that the pool and entertainment was nice. I encountered my first problem Upon checkin. Unfortunately when I booked the room a few months ago, the system automatically booked for 2 adults. Upon realising this i called the hotel (from overseas) and advised them that I have two young children. I was advised that lids were free. Upon checkin I volunteered the childrens passport. I was then told that children were not free and had to be paid for. I showed them the hotel policy that clearly states kids up to the age of 11 are free when using the existing bedding with their parents. I told them that I had no problem with the kids using the existing bedding. There response was it wont be comfortable I then advised them that thats my problem. Then the manager Ali tried to find a solution. He offered us a discounted price of 100 euro per night for one child. Ali was nice however I felt that I was being treated unfairly even as the hotel policy says otherwise. Upon arriving in the room the room was big enough to occupy 4 adults let's alone 2 adults and 2 kids. My 7 year old son definitely did not eat 100euro worth of food. You are also not allowed to pay in TL unless you have an existing account with a turkish bank. On our third day we decided to go into the city. Upon wanting to return back to the hotel no taxi driver would take us and informed us that the hotel does not allow them. We were shocked as this information was not shared with us. We felt stranded. Luckily one nice bus driver offered to take us. We were shocked to find this out. Ive never been to a hotel that does not allow taxi drivers to enter. The hotel does not provide you with an iron which was another negative. They said if I wanted my clothes ironed I had to pay for it. The buffet was nice but it felt repetitive. Yes the menu seemed like it was different but in reality maybe 5percent of the food was different every night. Everything else was the same. The entertainment was nice. DJ Ali Selcuk was the highlight of my stay. He was amazing and we looked forward to his performance every night. The other DJ was ok but he requested 10usd from us because we wanted to make a song request. The pool staff were very nice but the service waa extremely slow. It took about 1 hour for them to bring drinks. The fizzy drinks were definitely flat and unpleasant to drink. The pool was nice. The walls to the room was super thin. You are able to hear the slightest noise. We woke up at 5am every day because our neighbours kids were screaming and playing at that time. We called guest services and requested that they ask them to please keep it down. Nothing was done. Overall I wouldn't consider this as a 4 star hotel. The level of service and treatment is not reflective of a 5 star hotel. I booked this hotel due to the kids being free. The hotel is outdated and needs an urgent upgrade if they call themselves 5 star. I would not stay here again or recommend it to my friends and family. Oya

    Place is good. Designed for relaxing. Internet is everywhere available. Staff are very kind. Food is fairly good (not the best compared to the competitors) Negatives: AC system is ready bad. We asked for change the room and maintenance was sent to the room, he came and put his temperature sensor on the opening of the AC and it read 20 but the room was boiling most of the day. If you not into hot places, this is not the best. We left the place one night before or check out date and lost money for one night because we booked non-refundable

    ... we loved it. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is incredible and the spa and wellness facilities as well as pool and amenities are absolutely amazing. Had the best massage!
