    Our check in was over one hour late. Valet parking is not suitable for disabled people. The restaurant was great but I have a knee replacement coming up and walking to the end of the building was difficult. Running luggage around was hard. ADA should be applied more make it easier to get around and also onto the beach. Housekeeper showed up 40 minutes before check out. Spoke only Spanish. Guests should have been told that there would be construction going on for two days. Banging was loud and woke us up at 8:22 am. I know the hotel was recently updated but needs more on the walkways. The lounge had dirty windows and stained couches. Overall we had an alright time. But disappointed in many ways.

    The room was spacious, and so clean. Beds were comfortable, and the pillows plump and comfortable as well. Bathroom well light, large and again, very clean. Overall, well appointed, everything we needed, and just perfect.

    I would be happy to recommend the Sound View as a great place to stay in Greenport. Our room was clean and comfortable with a water view. The continental breakfast was excellent.
