    The owner and staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. We were provided with a wrong room type due to miscommunication between agoda and booking.com. The owner spent an hour to assist to contact agoda and booking.com to resolve the issue. The owner and the staff also went out of their way to provide free coffee, snacks and gift to alleviate the unpleasant experience due to the wrong hotel room type provided. The meat and vegetable portions provided for dinner was generous. Location is unbeatable for visiting the waterfall and is a short drive to the blue pond.

    The hotel is located next to the ropeway, next to forested area. Fresh air, cozy vibe. The free onsen was located in another bigger hotel about 2mins walk away.

    If you are not driving, please do not stay here. We nearly got stranded in the train station as there was no transport at all when we reached at night due to unpredictable situation. Thanks to 2 random guys that just happened to be at the station to buy drinks and offered to send us back to the hotel which was about 20mins away. Hotel staff was nice though.
