unfortunately, our experience at signy house was extremely disappointing, especially because of how the situation was handled afterward. at around 4am, water from the public toilet flooded the first floor and entered our room. we woke up to water coming in and had to use around 6–7 towels ourselves to try to block it while contacting the property for help. our sleep was completely disrupted, and our plans the following morning were also affected. we understand that unexpected problems can happen at any accommodation. what disappointed us most was not simply the flooding, but the way the problem was handled afterward. we had to repeatedly contact the property ourselves and negotiate for a solution. the proposed compensation went from an apology and discount 10% for next stay, to 30%, then 50%, and finally we understood that management agreed to refund 100% of the affected first night. instead of proactively giving us a proper solution, we had to keep contacting them, explaining the same situation, discussing with the manager, and negotiating back and forth. eventually, they agreed to refund around 710,000 vnd for the affected night, but getting to that point took so much unnecessary time and energy. honestly, the amount of money was not even the main issue anymore. after already losing our sleep and having our schedule affected, we then had to spend even more of our holiday dealing with the property just to get a reasonable response. the whole process was mentally draining and made us feel that the priority was finding the most convenient solution for the property rather than genuinely trying to take care of guests after a serious problem. i hope signy house improves the way management responds when something goes wrong. good hospitality is not only about providing a room when everything is fine — it is also about how you treat your guests when there is a problem.

It was a really enjoyable stay with Signy. The only downside is that the room is not very sound proof. You could definitely hear the neighbors or vendors in the alley right in front of the place, as well as the washing machine on ground floor as I stayed on the second floor.

Love the staff here, they are so friendly! The facilities are great, and the environment is nice, especially the bathroom is clean and cozy, completely quiet at night. YouTube and Netflix are also available for guests!!
