    I stayed for 5 nights in June 2026 and 26 nigths in July 2026. Clean, easy access to Insein Road, and a great option for inexpensive stay w/shared bathroom option. Great experience, alsmost certainly where I will stay during next Yangon visit.

    Experience was very good & Staffs are very polite & Helpful.. I booked single room with shared Bathroom. But bed could be better. Overall it's good, I recommend it for who visits yangoon

    I enjoyed my previous stay at the SERENE Stay Hotel enough that I decided to book there again for my last three nights in Myanmar. They ended up putting me in the same room as before. As I mentioned in my previous review, the room itself is nice and the bed comfy. I will say that this time I noticed that the room wasn't as clean as my original stay (there was hair in the bed) and the desk chair had been removed for some reason. This left me using the couch you can see in the picture of the room, which could really use a deep clean. Something that was new (for me) with this stay was the breakfast. I think maybe I was just spoiled by the breakfasts that I had enjoyed at other places around Myanmar because SERENE's didn't do much for me. The food was mediocre, the coffee wasn't being refilled, and the service just okay. All in all, I think next time I will try another venue when visiting Yangon. The SERENE Stay is a solid option, but I imagine there are better places to stay at comparable cost.
