We recently stayed at the Seaport Village Inn, and it’s a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the location is absolutely fantastic and making it easy to get around Catalina. Our room was incredibly spacious, and the staff were wonderful—very nice, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay.
However, the property itself is very old and outdated. The kitchen, bathroom, and general amenities look completely ancient. The carpet is old, and the mattresses are worn down and very squeaky. Unfortunately, the walls are also paper-thin; we could clearly hear our neighbors having an intimate session and moaning, which wasn't exactly ideal.
If you just need a large space in a great spot and don't mind a very vintage, outdated vibe, it works—but it definitely needs some major renovations.
