Pavilion Hotel

Central location, quiet, breakfast included.

This is a great gem of a hotel. The entire property has been recently renovated, and it clearly shows. Our room was beautiful. The staff was outstanding and very helpful. The location was perfect, in the middle of all the action, the perfect spot to walk to everything. The property still offered a quiet sanctuary to sit and watch the waves with a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers at the complementary wine and cheese hour every evening. I highly recommend this property.

We stayed at The Pavilion Hotel for 3 nights and it was awesome. the location, the grounds and all the people behind the desk were friendly and helpful . I may be leaving 1 person out and if I did, my apologies. Demi, Jacob, Kylie, Aush were awesome! Thank you for helping to make our 1st Catalina Island visit so special and easy!

The room was very clean, the location was on the main boardwalk in downtown Avalon, the staff was professional and responsive, and the amenities were convenient. Unfortunately, since the moment we entered our room and throughout our stay, the TV volume was inoperable, the Keurig machine was inoperable, the drapes would not open, the wand continuously detached from the drapes, one of the French doors would not open, the French doors would not lock, the bathroom light would not light, the sink was cracked, and the heater did not function. All these malfunctions were repaired, but we were unable to participate in one of our main excursions due to all the repairs until they were completed. We complained to the manager who compensated us the destination fees and provided two additional wine and cheese vouchers. We shared that all rooms should not only be cleaned prior to a guest's stay, but they should also ensure everything functions in the rooms to avoid any discomfort and inconveniences, especially to avoid missing in the participation of local activities.
