Usually stays here during work visit to Täby. The hotel room is nice and clean. The facility in general is quite decent and good location.
The staff on the other hand needs to work on hospitality and customer care. They are not very welcoming and happy to see you. Lack of information in regards to the hotels offering such as when breakfast is, WiFi etc.

I Stay at Täby Scandic about 5 times a year, as it seems to be the only hotel of this type around Täby. This lack of competition has made them complacent.
I arrived from airport in early afternoon, to check-in. I was told if I want to check-in before 16:00 I had to pay 115SEK! So, I went for a walk. They have never offered me a discount for checking out before 11:00.
Getting a fresh towel everyday is a "hit n miss" exercise. No matter what you do, leaving it on the floor or the shelves, if you stay for more than a day, sometimes the room doesn't even get seen daily, even when you ask at the desk for fresh towels every day. You have to go the reception and collect fresh towels yourself.
On the positive side, the breakfast is good with wide range of selections and staff are nice and friendly (well, most of them).
