We stayed here for four nights and did not enjoy. At check in there was no one in the reception so we had to wait for a while. We weren’t in a rush so no big deal. When we got to the room the first thing we noticed was all the bugs. We understand that bugs get in of course but these were swarms of fruit flies which seems unusual. We figured that they might come from the sink/shower drain being stagnant for a while so we tried flushing them which helped a little but not much. The sheets had old stains on them that looked like dried blood, the walls were full of gecko poo and the towels had weird stains on them as well to the point where we wondered if they had been cleaned at all. We wanted to get the sheets and towels changed but we couldn’t find any of the staff. The shower wall and head had so much lime scale build up that it looked like it had never been cleaned at all. It also had old dried up shampoo stains. The aircon was the filthiest I have ever seen, full of dust and dirt. On the first night we wanted to go to the restaurant for a drink but again, the staff were nowhere to be found. At check out the trend continued and one of the long term guests had to call the manager/owner to come and check us out. We are not fussy people and rarely leave a bad review but this was too much even for us.
