We decided to extend our trip in koh samui for 3 days and decided to spend it at SALA resort. We have thoroughly Enjoyed staying here, the staff give 5 star service and have the friendliest attitude. We also included a Muay Thai class with their on site instructor,Beer. Great class! Great workout! Beer is extremely friendly and knows his stuff. Highly reccomended!

From the moment I arrived I couldn’t get the smile off my face, this is such a special place. I was traveling solo with my 6 month old son. The team had every amenity that we needed waiting and ready (Early check in, places near fans, a cot, baby bath sterilizer, little blanket ….). Really without having to ask. The hotel arranged an exceptional nanny that they used regularly who was wonderful with my son. There are lots of great activities in the evening, its close to lots of bars and restaurants on a nice quieter end of the beach. What really made it so special for me was the entire team, nothing was too much trouble and everyone cared for us with such genuine kindness and fun - everyone went above and beyond from front desk, housekeeping, porters, drivers, the pool and beach, management…. (Things like organizing a sound bath, the driver staying an extra 30 minutes when it overran and was waiting with a smile and umbrella, moving my breakfast to my room for me when they could see my son was hot and needed a rest, a warm greeting by name and a smile every time we came and went through reception). Ohh and the food is soooo good, because of my young son I was happy to have lots of good options available for room service. We travel a lot and this hotel is note worthy, where I will stay in Koh Samui from now on. We can’t wait to return, thank you for a truly relaxing enjoyable trip.

A truly beautiful resort with an incredible room in every way. The breakfast was excellent, and both of the hotel’s restaurants were outstanding. The staff were kind, attentive, and provided great service throughout our stay. We also loved the dedicated app, which made communication, bookings, and requests super easy. Highly recommended

Upon arrival, we were quite shocked by the condition of the hospitality's public areas. The photos we had seen online painted a picture of a freshly opened establishment, with immaculate white surfaces, beautiful pools, and pristine rooms(we had imaginations of Santorini). However, the reality was quite different; the hotel appeared to merit only a three-star rating! Everywhere we looked, there was peeling paint. The rooms had rusty mirrors and stained floors, while the beach loungers were dirty, and the towels were still marked with sunscreen residues. The hotel definitely requires substantial renovations to meet the basic expectations for the 5* hospitality The sea was uncomfortably dirty. We were unpleasantly surprised to find that the property had open access and that there was no reception personnel or security at the garden wing during the night. The breakfast was another disappointment. It was poor with food being awkwardly arranged, making it difficult to navigate and choose items comfortably. (Example: Food was covered by nets, but there was no space to place the nets to uncover it). The selection of meals was limited (no sausages, salads, noodles, etc.), and I cannot say that they were tasty. Our main concern with this hotel was that we had based our decision on its high ratings (for example, the rating on Tripadvisor was 5.0!) and appealing internet photographs. We made the decision to move from a great hotel in Samui to that hotel, only to find that our accommodations were mediocre after paying 1.5x the price of the previous hotel (where we had a private villa). Additionally, the hotel management disapproved of our choice to post a public review on another platform rather than resolve the issue privately. We find this notion unacceptable, as it restricts the dissemination of information, which is crucial for making informed decisions. After all, we ourselves fell into this trap.
