    The hotel itself is pretty straightforward. Relatively safe and clean. The only drawback is that a big garbage truck is parked almost every night in front of the hotel which can be an eye sore and could smell. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of massage / spas. There a little mobile bar within a minute walk from the hotel called SMILE BAR. Look for Ping! Amazing time to hang out with the locals as they share experiences on their businesses etc. 3 minute walk to EmSphere. Location is superb. No frills hotel. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good deal and a comfortable place to sleep and rest after a long day roaming around Bangkok.

    So far cleanliness & maintenance of the hotel got A+ for this. However, perhaps can take note of the towel changing daily for housekeeping, can be ensured towel is in good condition before exchanging. 2nd last day of the trip when I used the towel, it just got torn suddenly.

    Overall the stay was decent reflecting the price. I did not expect that I wouldn’t be able to use the toilet however. During my stay I was visited by a total of 7 cockroaches of different sizes, all coming from behind the toilet. I had asked for help from the staff twice and finally I was given to bug spray to use in my room. This made me regret my decision to choose Sakura though it was a decent stay, I personally cannot handle cockroaches.
