The location is great for the 6am flight but the beds are not comfy at all...they were way too soft and you could just about feel the springs through the mattress. Mattress was definitely last it's used by date Was disappointed because I was looking forward to a good rest after a long day and it's the rydges. Room has lots of space for luggage. Wellington isn't that big and travel to the airport in the morning isn't really a big deal. I'd only stay again if I really really needed to...not sure the convenience would outweigh the quality of the bed.

Lovely to stay here. Had a great sleep. Bed so comfy. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast at restaurant was wonderful. Stress-free way of travelling.

As an airport hotel you know you will be charged for the accessibility to the gate but i found the hotel lacking in cleanliness. The barren corridors to your room reminded me of those movies where the film pans out making the corridor look longer than it is. In this case it is a long walk. The art work on the walls have been damaged by luggage travelling past. Plates and wine glasses scatted outside doors looking like they had been there for hours not minutes. And multiple obvious stains in the carpet. The rooms were fine and did the job. We arrived quite late and staff appeared annoyed when we ordered food at the bar so close to closing time. Do better guys and spend some money on washing the carpets and updating the damage art work. Note: beautiful artwork as you leave the hotel to departures still has signs "be carefull still wet". The same signs were there two years ago. What type of slow drying paint did they use lol
