Rubtawan is a good choice when staying on Koh Si Chang, especially if you are looking for a budget-friendly hotel with a nice sea view, as the location is not far from the pier and close to the main road which makes it convenient and safe to travel around the island, although the road to the hotel is a bit steep, but once you arrive you can enjoy a beautiful ocean view just a short walk away, while the check-in time is 14:00 and the process is fast and smooth with kind and helpful staff, and for the room I stayed in a twin-bed room (Room No. 1) on the first floor which has an acceptable level of cleanliness. Not very clean but not dirty, although there was some dust around the headboard area while the bed is soft and comfortable, and there is a little bit of noise coming from outside, and one downside is that they do not provide an air conditioner remote control so you cannot adjust the temperature yourself, however the room still comes with basic amenities such as power outlets near the bed and TV, a hairdryer, clothes hangers, towels, a refrigerator, and two bottles of water, but there are no toiletries like soap, shampoo, or facial tissue which is not a big issue because you can easily buy them at a nearby 7-11, and it is recommended to keep the bathroom door closed to prevent unpleasant smell even though the water pressure is strong and satisfying, so considering the location, sea view, and price, I would say it is worth the money and suitable for travelers who focus more on convenience and atmosphere rather than full facilities.
