The hotel wasn’t terrible, it was clean inside the room, the views from room 326 were great. There were staffing issue’s for a busy Friday weekend and I saw only 3 employees at 4 pm on the entire property. The hotel could use some fresh paint here and there. With the right care the Royal Sun could be a great place, or with more neglect it could turn into a Vagabond Motel across the way.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days. The hotel itself is fantastic, with great facilities and clean modern rooms. The staff were super helpful and always friendly. The location is great being a short walk/drive from the main area of Palm Springs. Also the botanical garden opposite is well worth checking out. All in all a fantastic hotel and we will be staying here next time we are in Palm Springs

Missing a ton of basic amenities. No wifi. No phone to contact front desk. No places to hang towels, basic toiletry supplies, coffee maker, or even glasses to put your toothbrushes in. The hotel is cute and nicely decorated, but I would not recommend it to any one.

desperate to leave los angeles, I found this hotel. total gouching from them for over $*** a night to be put in a bottom floor room right next to the pool. incredibly noisy especially when people are slamming doors and you feel as someone is breaking in and entering your room. Children screaming from 7 am till 5 p.m over relentless techno music. you’d think that you can get some rest after 5 pm but then you can hear the TV in the next room all night long through the thin walls and again slamming doors. Forget about reading or resting your eyes, or even talking to your partner. No one came to clean the room , make the bed, or replace towels. The toilet paper ran out and we had to use kleenex. The toilet was running after you flush unless you go back and adjust the handle. The mini fridge loud, the air con loud and noisy. The only contact with the staff unplaisant. My partner tried to charge his EV to no avail the two stalls always occupied and the chargers not even in use. loud, dirty and dusty place, can’t think of worse place to stay
