Stayed here after booking a Super Deluxe room, but was downgraded to a Deluxe room without any prior intimation. I only found out when I called to reconfirm a day before. Though ₹1000 was refunded, the downgraded room and its facilities were below expectations. Also noticed similar complaints from other guests about room changes and being shifted to another of their under-construction property.
On arrival, there was no one at reception, and I had to carry my luggage upstairs myself. Then had to wait over 40 minutes as the room wasn’t ready. Basic service was lacking. Water was offered only after a long wait. The receptionist seemed inexperienced, largely disengaged, and busy on her phone and with her friends.
Post check-in, requests for essentials like dry toilet paper and a water bottle took hours and repeated follow-ups. The toilet flush had no water on the morning of checkout. The food was average.
A major concern was safety and comfort. The restaurant staff openly tried to peek into the room while taking the order, which felt extremely uncomfortable, especially for a solo female traveller.
Overall, a disappointing, unsafe, and poorly managed experience.
