    We had a pleasant stay in LD guest house. The host is very cooperative, helped us with travel route and also arranged for a vehicle for us to go to the Ram mandir. Rooms are decent sized, property has a big open space which is good when traveling with small children. Although the property is a bit farther from the Ram Mandir, folks who want to stay away from the crowd can choose this. Overall very good stay and we will definitely recommend it to others traveling to Ayodhya.

    Let me begin by saying this, the owner and his son Abhishek are polite and courteous. And that’s where the list of positives for LD Guest House, Ayodhya ends. 1. Misleading Location Claim Their Agoda listing boldly claims that the property is just 2.1 kms from Ram Mandir. In reality, it’s over 6 km away. Don’t take my word for it, check Google Maps yourself. Getting to the temple will cost you around ₹175–₹200 each way by auto rickshaw. The property's advertised distance from Ram Mandir is not a minor error, it’s a deliberate misrepresentation. 2. The Breakfast Scam We paid for “breakfast included” at ₹***per person, expecting at least a decent spread. What we were offered instead was two slices of bread with butter or jam and a tiny bowl of poha. That’s it. For ₹*** per person! Even railway platforms serve better value for money. It felt less like hospitality and more like being taken for a ride. 3. Rooms That Belong in a Marriage Hall, Not a Hotel Calling these rooms “guest rooms” is laughable. There were no soaps, no toilet paper, no exhaust fan, no ventilation, and no complimentary water bottles. The single staff member who attended to us gave us 4 bottles when we checked in. Only for the owner to charge us ₹** for them at check-out, claiming they weren’t complimentary. Something that should have been told to us upfront at check-in. The entire property is essentially an open lawn rented for events, with a few rooms attached that feel more like changing rooms than actual accommodations. If you’re looking for a place near Ram Mandir for a family stay, avoid LD Guest House at all costs. What’s advertised online and what you actually get are worlds apart. Courteous words can’t cover up poor facilities, misleading information, and brazen overcharging.
