    Its ok for short stay

I arrived early and paid for early checkin. The room I booked wasn't cleaned yet so I agreed to another room, but the condition was so bad - smelt really bad, paint peeling, mould and other stains and a dirty chair whose seat looked like it had been eaten by some animal! I asked to change to my booked room but was told it was no longer available, so had to move to another room which didn't have the large window I had booked. Disappointed. Reception was polite, helped me carried my bag up the stairs and, after persuasion, agreed to give me another room which was OK. This hotel really needs maintenance - unbelievable that it can rent out a room in this condition.
