    I had an incredibly disappointing stay at Rock Shore Patong. Despite the misleading positive reviews online, the reality of this hotel was far from acceptable. First and foremost, the constant smell of weed throughout the hotel was overwhelming and off-putting. It seemed impossible to escape, making the atmosphere uncomfortable and far from relaxing. The lack of basic facilities was shocking. We requested extra pillows and were told none were available—something I’ve never encountered in any hotel before. It’s clear that guest comfort is not a priority here. While the location is somewhat convenient, it is surrounded by a seedy and unpleasant environment, which detracts significantly from any potential positives. The management was essentially non-existent. There was no one to address concerns or ensure that guests had a decent experience. The staff seemed either unwilling or unable to provide any level of customer service. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different place to stay in Patong. Rock Shore Patong was an absolute letdown.
