    RiverView Homestay 2 Dong Hoi Vietnam 2026 June 4 ⭐ 1/5 Stars I rarely post negative reviews, but I believe accommodation providers should always under-promise and over-deliver. Unfortunately, my experience at RiverView Homestay 2 was extremely disappointing. The Agoda listing advertised a kitchen, but there was no usable kitchen available for guests. This was misleading and did not match the advertised facilities. I stayed in a shared bunk room, yet there were no lockers for valuables. Passports, cash, electronics, and other personal belongings were left completely unsecured. For any hostel-style accommodation, this is a serious concern and something I find difficult to understand. Air conditioning was only available from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Before going to sleep, I set the temperature to 20°C, but it was changed to 27°C during the night. I woke at 4:30 AM feeling hot and uncomfortable and was unable to get back to sleep. The overall atmosphere was very unwelcoming. I felt more like an inconvenience than a paying guest. Guest comfort and satisfaction did not appear to be priorities, and the attitude I encountered made the stay unpleasant from start to finish. The nearby beach has "No Swimming" signs, and the area does not appear particularly suitable for visitors looking for a beach holiday. Overall, this was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have had during my travels. Between the inaccurate listing, lack of security for valuables, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, and unwelcoming atmosphere, I cannot recommend this property. I hope this feedback encourages the owners to improve their facilities, listing accuracy, and approach to guest hospitality.

    I felt it was not worth the price I paid for. Cleanliness was minimal. However, Uyen was kind and did her best to support me. Her dog Mon, was so adorable and I will be missing her. Due to her it became little easier to be there.
