Riverside Garden Resort

My family and I stayed at this hotel for five nights, and it was terrible in every respect. We arrived at midnight, and there was no transport available from the main road to the hotel; we had to walk the two-kilometer distance in the dark, exhausted and carrying our suitcases. Upon arrival, the receptionist offered us a filthy room full of spiders, which we refused; the next room offered was also incredibly dirty. Finally, he told us it was the last room he would show us, so we were forced to accept it. The bedsheets were filthy—covered in hair and even flakes of dead skin. Despite our exhaustion, we had to walk a long way to ask for clean sheets and pillowcases, and we ended up changing the bedding ourselves. At this hotel, they won't give you water even if you are dying of thirst; they tell you to buy it from the restaurant for 100 Lira. There was no hand soap, body wash, boxed tissues, drinking water, or toothbrushes. We were forced to buy tissues, body wash, and hair conditioner from outside, and every day we had to buy water elsewhere and carry it back over that long distance. This is by no means a 4-star hotel; in my opinion, it is barely a 2-star or even a 1-star establishment. Everything about the place was appallingly bad. We spent our worst days there and just wanted our stay to end as soon as possible. The hotel is very far from the main town of Kyrenia and even from the main road, yet it offered no shuttle service to the city center or the main road. It would be more accurate to call it a cheap inn rather than a hotel; cleanliness is a completely foreign concept here. This hotel ruined the vacation my family and I took—a trip I had spent a lot of money on. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

I had a fantastic time at the resort, as always. Strongly recommended to potential travellers.

Highly recommend this place. Great size pools for all ages. Rooms were clean. Great atmosphere :)

Ужин был отвратительный, еда ужасная. Я даже не догадывалась, что и завтрак тоже ужасны, элементарно омлет не возможно было есть. Всю ночь в номере, где мы спали, входная дверь отстукивала барабанную дробь, был ветер и дверь не была зафиксирована, холодильник не работал.....
