Would stay here again for sure, however the lift was broken.
When asking about options for dinner reception gave us a 10% off coupon to a variety of places in town which was great.

Great value, clean and comfortable. Location is just off the main drag so it’s nice and quiet, but you can walk to anything you need. The food cart park is on the next block. They have a hot tub and pool, which is really nice after a day of hiking, mountain biking, etc.

Checked out at 6 in the morning. The young man (long hair, pony tail if RCL monitors these) checked who me out - no “How was your stay?” or even a thank you or smile. I also found another guests’ key card and gave it to him. Nothing… Rude and uninterested. Would not give me a receipt since I booked through agoda. Could not work up the minimum customer service.
I’ve stayed at River Canyon Lodge many times over the last 15 years, last year being my previous stay. I am not looking for rude interactions with employees while traveling and will look for alternative lodgings Next year.
