Everything was great about this hotel. Clean, decently sized rooms and bathrooms. An impressive breakfast that tasted had a homemade taste. We witnessed the staff act like family amongst one another and even the guests, if we chose to engage. For example, we saw the lady who made breakfast each morning help take care of a crying toddler for a family that was having breakfast.
What you get here is a more intimate experience than one you'd get at a larger, more "high-end" hotel. However, it is no lesser than those experiences.
If you want to be in the main tourist area of Goreme at all times, then this might not be the best location. However, we came to like its location, being in a more quiet corner of the town which allowed us to enjoy the peace and serenity of the small town we were in. And the main tourist street was only pleasant a 10 minute walk away for the times we did want to be there. And despite being slightly secluded, there were many nice rooftop dining options at the adjacent hotels to this one.
If you have reduced mobility, be aware that this hotel does not have an elevator.
As a whole, this is a great place to stay, especially on a budget and for those preferring more down-to-earth, rather than corporate, experiences.
