Great stay for cheap super nice staff

I stayed for 7 nights, and while the staff was helpful, the lack of proactive housekeeping service and rigid policies made it a frustrating stay. Pros: Responsive Staff: The hairdryer in my room was broken, but staff gladly and quickly replaced in 5mins when notified. Free Ice: A nice perk was the free ice cube machine under the stairs by the pool. Simple Breakfast: A basic, unchanging daily spread of coffee, tea, juice, milk, cereal, pastry, bread, boiled eggs, and bananas. (food runs low sometime and they not keen to top up) Cons: Housekeeping & Towel Issues: No room cleaning during the entire week. A note promised fresh towels every 3 days, but they were never replaced. I had to call the front desk on 4th day to get them. When the towels finally arrived, I was told housekeeping had to be scheduled by request. We scheduled it for the following day, but nothing was done. Trash & Bins: The room bins were not provided with trash bags, and the hotel seemingly expects guests to bag and manage their own trash. Frustrating Deposit Policy: Despite providing my card online, the counter insisted on running it for a "deposit." Noted they actually charged $100 to my card on my checked-in date through my statement and because they didn't offer a cash option or a quick reversal, I now have to wait a week or more post-checkout for the refund. Summary: Fine for a basic 1-2 stay, but communication gaps in housekeeping and the annoying deposit process hold it back.

It is intolarable to hear the strange hitting sound from the ceiling or somewhere on the wall which will veto all the other good feeling toward this place. It's a pity not having qulified lodgers here.
