We recently enjoyed a 4-day stay at this resort and had a generally pleasant experience. The Positives: The staff truly stood out—they were incredibly courteous and helpful throughout our stay. We were also impressed with the dining; the food was flavorful and clearly prepared with high-quality ingredients. Additionally, the rooms were well-maintained and clean, and the infinity pool was kept in excellent condition. Areas for Improvement: We did encounter a few operational issues. We experienced frequent issues with the hot water supply, and the bathroom floors were quite slippery (our two-year-old unfortunately had a fall). Additionally, the frequent power cuts—while mitigated by a generator—were noticeable and disruptive. We hope these maintenance issues are addressed, as the property has great potential.

This review is not limited to Bangaloreans — it’s for anyone considering this property. I’m Dileep from Bangalore. We booked a stay from 30th Jan to 1st Feb and paid ₹16,000 (including taxes) for the room, without breakfast included. We kept in mind the distance travelled and the effort involved to reach the resort. We drove directly from Bangalore, which took 11 hours, with just a 30-minute breakfast break, and reached the property around 4 PM. For anyone planning this trip, please note: The last 100+ km stretch is extremely difficult, with sharp twists, narrow roads, and scary turns. It’s a challenging drive and not for everyone. Honestly, I don’t think many people from Bangalore would travel this far just for a resort stay. Interestingly, most of the vehicles we saw around the property were KL (Kerala) registered vehicles. The good parts: • The view from the room is mesmerizing • A beautiful pool with a great view • A few indoor games That said, the pool is very small for the number of rooms, and there is only one pool. Reality check: This resort is mostly just a place to stay, nothing more. • A very small garden • A tiny kids’ play area • Only two sit-out tables Anyone staying more than one night will definitely get bored, as there’s hardly anything to do besides staying inside the room. Given the long travel and the amount paid, we requested the management for complimentary breakfast, even if it was for one day. The response was a flat “No, sorry.” No alternatives, no effort. On Day 1 (Friday), since we were tired, we stayed in. They mentioned Hi-Tea with pakoda was complimentary. On Day 2, we returned at 7 PM after stepping out. When we asked for Hi-Tea again, we were told it ended at 6 PM. Even after explaining our situation, the response was you can pay and have it. Additional concerns: • All room service orders had an extra 10% service charge, written in small text at the bottom of the menu and never explained • Dinner buffet at ₹600 per person was suggested, but the food options were very limited; only a few dishes were good Overall, there was zero effort from the management to make guests feel welcome or comfortable. Every request was met with the same response: “No, sorry, sir.” Paying ₹16,000 for two nights just for the view and the bed was disappointing. When we finally mentioned that this isn’t the right way to treat guests and that we wouldn’t recommend the stay, the management simply replied, “Okay.” We are sure there are better, more spacious, and more guest-friendly resorts available for this price. We’re not saying don’t book this resort — but think carefully. Consider options that include breakfast, have engaging activities, and most importantly, staff who listen and try to help. The 2-star rating is strictly for the room, its cleanliness, and the view—nothing beyond that.
