    Unfortunately, this wasn’t a place I would recommend for more than a very short stay. The biggest issue was the bed, it was like sleeping on concrete and was extremely uncomfortable. My girlfriend and I actually ended up leaving one night early and paying to stay somewhere else because of it. The hotel does have some interesting and unusual features. There are lots of strange posters and statues of General Mao around the property, which we actually found pretty cool and funny. The overall decor is also quite unique and gives the place some character. The location is great, but the service was disappointing. When we arrived, there was nobody at the front desk. After waiting around 10 minutes, someone eventually came over but didn’t even greet us and seemed quite uninterested. The cleaners in the hallway were also quite unfriendly… we said hello but didn’t get a response or even a smile. The room itself is quite dark and has a concrete floor, which adds to the rather basic feel. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay, mainly because of the uncomfortable bed and unfriendly service. However, if you just need somewhere cheap to stay for one night and the location is convenient for you, it’s an acceptable budget option.
